The idea behind the masterpiece
6-mark questions are difficult; there is no doubt about it. You could write your entire textbook as an answer for a question but still score a 3 out of 6 because it "doesn't match the marking scheme". It is annoying, and for a while, I too was struggling with such an issue. No matter how much time I spent revising my teacher's PPTs, the outcome was always the same. That was until I finally understood something.
"Many people think that to excel in an exam you need to revise the content thoroughly, and while there is some truth in that, the absolute key to becoming a topper is right in the past papers. An examiner can only ask you so many questions until he finally runs out of variations if the core content stays the same."
So, why not just master every single type of question he could ask? In that case, you would always be two steps ahead. If you memorize the exact marking scheme requirements for every topic, there is simply no way for you to lose easy marks.
100% Exam Standards
All Target Variations
Built for Toppers
It was an excellent idea, but following through with it was a challenge. So many past papers, and each one containing a lot more questions. But I decided that I would take it on. I carefully analyzed every question relevant to GCSE and procured every marking scheme across GCSE, IGCSE, and legacy boards. Finally, all of them reside here, in one place, for anyone to use.
